How to prepare Sage Tea:
For everyday use:
Bring 3 dl water to boil and cook uncovered 1 teaspoon of sage leaves for 3 minutes, steep covered up to 10 minutes, remove tea leaves, let cool to room temperature. May be enjoyed sweeten with our organic honey, twice a day.
As a throat gargle – one should NOT drink strong sage tea:
Bring ½ liter of water to boil and cook uncovered 4 teaspoons of sage leaves for 3 minutes, steep covered up to 10 minutes, remove tea leaves, let it cool to comfortable temperature.
Use it as a throat gargle for a sore throat, to fight sinus infection or as an effective mouthwash.
Gargle it warm for 1 – 2 minutes and repeat every two hours.
